For the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice, Hotel Amaca may collect your personal data in various ways: when the information is provided directly by you; when you visit our website; when you use the services offered by Hotel Amaca online and when we obtain information through means other than those indicated above and which are permitted by applicable laws.
The personal data obtained by the means indicated above are:
1. Identification data: name(s), surname(s), address, home, cell phone and/or work phone number, marital status, signature, email, gender, age, date of birth, username and password.
2. Financial Data: cardholder name, credit card number, expiration date and CVC, in case of online or telephone transactions.
3. Billing information: name or company name, RFC, tax address.
4. Preference Data: related to the room, services required and/or reason and travel preferences.
Sensitive Personal Data
Sensitive personal data is considered to be personal data that affects the most intimate sphere of its owner, or whose improper use may give rise to discrimination or entail a serious risk for him/her. In particular, sensitive data is considered to be data that may reveal aspects such as racial or ethnic origin, present and future health status, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, union membership, political opinions, sexual preferences. If you stay at any of our hotels, the sensitive personal data that we will ask you to provide will be those related to health or different capacities, which will be used only to provide you with a better service and meet your specific needs.
Purpose and Processing of Personal Information
Purposes that give rise to the legal relationship and are necessary for the provision of service:
1. The personal information you provide us will be used by Hotel Amaca to provide the services you request or that are part of a program you have signed up for or a purchase you have made: reservations, purchase of vacation packages, vacation club membership, affiliation with our loyalty programs, organization of events and social gatherings, purchase of tourist products and/or services.
2. Hotel Amaca may use the personal information you provide to offer you a better service and, where appropriate, identify your preferences during your stay and make it more pleasant.
Purposes that do not give rise to a legal relationship or are not necessary for the provision of services:
1. It may also use the information to offer you promotions and tourism and commercial products, sending promotions, special services, newsletters, surveys, prize draws and other online contests.
Limitation on Use or Disclosure of Personal Information
At any time you may express your refusal to the processing of the purposes that do not give rise to the legal relationship and are not necessary for the provision of the service, or the revocation of the consent you have given us to the processing of your personal data, by means of a request that must be submitted in writing to the Hotel Management at the following address: Calle Pino Suárez #583. Col. Emiliano Zapata. Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. CP:48380, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday (on business days) or to the email address: gerencia@hotelamaca.com.
This request must contain at least the following: (I) Name of the Owner of the Personal Data; (II) Email to receive notifications; (II) Documents proving your identity or, where applicable, the legal representation of the owner; (IV) Clear and precise description of the personal data for which the right is sought to be exercised and of the right that is intended to be exercised. (V) Any other element or document that facilitates the location of the personal data such as the date of your stay or the provision of the service. In the event that the request does not satisfy any of the requirements indicated above, the Administration Management may require you within 5 business days of receiving the request to provide the elements or documents necessary to process it. You will have 10 business days to respond to the request; if you do not respond within this period, the corresponding request will be deemed not to have been submitted.
The deadlines for response will be a maximum of 20 business days from the date on which the request is received in order to inform you of the decision taken, so that, if appropriate, it can be made effective within 15 business days following the issuance of the response. In order to protect your confidentiality, Hotel Amaca will send the response to your request to the email address you have provided for this purpose and will keep it available to the applicant at the address indicated in the previous paragraph.
On the Exercise of the Rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition
Access, rectification, cancellation or opposition to the information you provide to Hotel Amaca as indicated in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties may be done by submitting the request to Hotel Amaca, in accordance with the provisions of section E) above, which will be answered in the terms indicated therein.
Control and Security of Personal Information
Hotel Amaca is committed to taking the necessary measures to protect the information collected, using security technologies and procedures to control the access, use or disclosure of your personal information without authorization. For online transactions, we also use security technologies that protect personal information transmitted to us through various electronic means, such as the use of a secure server under the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
