Internal Accommodation Regulations

Art. l.-

These Internal Regulations are binding on both the Hotel Amaca - Adults Only - Puerto Vallarta, located at Pino Suárez 583, Col. Emiliano Zapata in Puerto Vallarta, CP 48380, State of Jalisco, and the guests who contract its services.


Art. 2.-

Any person staying at this establishment is required to register using a card or special book that the establishment or the person in charge will keep for this purpose. Likewise, they must show a valid official identification with a photograph, both their own and that of the people who will be occupying the room. When the guests are a previously contracted group, their representative will fill out the registration form or provide in advance a list of guests that meets the aforementioned requirements.


Art. 3.-

Check-in time is set at 3:00 p.m. and check-out time and room vacating time is set at 11:00 a.m. each day. If a guest stays longer, an additional day of stay will be charged to their account, with a maximum tolerance of 60 minutes. The above is in accordance with the provisions of NOM-0lO-TUR 2001. If you wish to change your check-out date, we ask that you notify reception before 10:00 a.m. on the day of your check-out.


Art. 4.-

The accommodation service must be paid in advance, whether for one night or more. If the client does not pay on time, he/she loses the right to use the room. The administration will issue proof of payment or a detailed invoice of the services provided and the amount covered by the same when the guest requests it. The hotel does not assume responsibility for contracted external services such as taxis, dry cleaning or doctors.


Art. 5.-

The hotel has taken appropriate security measures and has Civil Liability Insurance in accordance with the provisions of NOM-07-TUR-2002. When a guest uses the hotel parking lot, he/she must park his/her car in an appropriate place. The establishment is not responsible for partial damage or total theft of the vehicle or objects left inside. Upon check-in, the guest must register all the details of his/her vehicle in the corresponding book. Any vehicle that is not registered at reception will be removed from the parking lot.


Art. 6.-

No user has the right to provide accommodation to any person without the prior consent of the management. In any case, the corresponding procedures must be carried out for registration and payment of the respective accommodation fee.


Art. 7.-

The establishment clearly displays its category, current accommodation rates and these Regulations in the reception area and in all rooms, in accordance with the provisions of NOM-010-TUR-2001, inviting our guests to comply with them.


Art. 8.-

If a guest falls ill, the hotel reception must call the doctor and the guest can be treated in his/her room. If the illness is contagious due to causes not attributable to the hotel, the guest will be transported at his/her own expense to the appropriate place; otherwise, the hotel will not cover the costs.


Art. 9.-

The hotel is not responsible for any loss that the guest may suffer in money or valuables not deposited in the safe. Objects or valuables forgotten by a guest in the room will remain in the custody of the hotel management for a period of 30 days. After this period, if there is no claim, they will be discarded.


Art. 10.-

Guests are not allowed to have any type of animals in their rooms, except those that assist the disabled.


Art. 11.-

Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms to avoid fire accidents. If you are caught smoking, you will be fined $20,000 MXN. If you have burned sheets, duvets or any asset of low importance to the hotel, a charge of $10,000 MXN will be made. If you start a major fire, you will have to see the authorities.


Art. 12.-

Events and activities involving a large gathering of people are not permitted on the hotel premises. We do not organize or allow events of any kind, as our facilities are not equipped to carry out such activities without disturbing the rest and privacy of our guests. Hotel Amaca makes it a priority to ensure the comfort and tranquility of all our guests. In the event of holding an event, a charge of $50,000 MXN will be applied. If it causes major damage such as disturbing other guests, you will have to see the authorities.


Art. 13.-


It is not permitted to consume food or drinks from outside sources in the common areas, including the restaurant, bar, terraces and swimming pools of the hotel. Hotel Amaca has a restaurant and bar that offer a wide variety of food and drinks to meet the needs of our guests.



Art. 14.-

Please do not use towels to clean your shoes or hard to remove stains. If you need to clean something, please report it to the front desk. In case of staining towels, there will be a charge of $1000 MXN per stained towel. The use that should be made of the furniture, clothes and other service objects, will be rational and moderate, taking proper care of them. In the event that the guest damages said objects, intentionally or accidentally, he/she must report it to the administration. When leaving his/her room, all guests have the obligation to leave the doors, windows, water taps closed, turn off the lights and air conditioning, as well as return the keys to his/her room and remote controls to the front desk. If you lose any asset, such as keys, remote controls, iron, dryer or towels, $500 MXN will be paid per lost asset.


Art. 15.-

The hotel will offer luggage storage service for up to 6 hours upon request by the guest.


Art. 16.-

In compliance with official civil protection regulations, the hotel has taken security measures by installing a sufficient number of fire extinguishers and smoke detectors to be used in the event of an incident. In such circumstances, guests must notify management.


Art. 17-

Guests must behave decently and morally within the establishment. It is forbidden to disturb the order by making noises that bother or disturb other guests, as well as using the room to perform any act or game prohibited by law. It is strictly forbidden to bring illegal drugs into the hotel.


Art. 18.-

Any complaint, suggestion or compliment must be noted on the complaint and suggestion forms that the hotel management has available to users at the reception desk, in accordance with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Tourism.


Art. 19.-

In the provision of services by this hotel there will be no discrimination based on sex, political belief, religion, nationality or social status. The establishment may refuse its services if the guest arrives in a state of intoxication or under the influence of drugs or narcotics or when the use of the hotel is intended for a purpose other than lodging. This establishment has protocols to prevent human trafficking, specifically of girls, boys and adolescents in the tourism sector. If you detect any signs of trafficking, notify the administration immediately.


Art. 20.-

The rights of the establishment and the guests to report to the competent authorities any events that constitute an illegal act or that give rise to liability for any of the parties in their persons and property are safeguarded, provided that they occur within the hotel facilities.


Art. 21.-

Failure by the guest to comply with these Internal Lodging Regulations will be grounds for termination of the lodging contract, without legal liability for the company.
