Terms and conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions applicable to the hotelamaca.com website. By accessing this website, you agree to all of its terms of use, without limitation or criteria.
Rates
- Rates published on the Hotel Amaca website are priced per night of stay.
- Promotional or special rates are valid only when booking online at HotelAmaca.com
- The published prices are in Mexican pesos.
- All rates include VAT, tourist and government taxes.
- Room rate details are correct at time of publication and are subject to change without notice.
Reservations
- Reservations can be made online at HotelAmaca.com, or by calling our contact numbers directly.
- The hotel requires reservations prior to arrival.
- Reservations are considered confirmed only with a Security Deposit.
- Questions regarding reservations are not resolved automatically, but rather individually with a response within 2 business days.
Check-in/Check-out
- Check-in time is from 3:00 pm
- Check-out time is no later than 12:00 pm (noon).
- Departures after 12:00 pm without prior notice or agreement will be subject to a fine of up to the value of 10 nights.
- Early check-in is subject to availability and a charge of up to 100% of the night. For guaranteed early check-in, the room must be booked one night prior with sufficient notice.
- Late check-out requests can be made through the front desk only and are subject to occupancy determination and will incur a fee if accepted.
Deposit Guarantee
- A deposit equivalent to $200.00 MXN in cash is required to safeguard the kit that is given to you upon check-in and includes keys and controls.
- At check-out time, our receptionists will receive the key and control kit and proceed to hand over the $200.00 MXN that you left as a deposit.
Reservation extension policy
- Extended stay will be provided at current room rates, subject to availability. Current room rates may be different from the rates at which the room was booked.
Changes, cancellations and “no show” policy
- Confirmation of changes to any reservation is subject to room availability.
- Hotel Amaca reserves the right to charge your credit card with a cancellation fee equivalent to the number of nights reserved.
Cancellation fees are determined according to season:
General cancellations – low season (June, September and October):
- Full refund up to 72 hours before arrival
- 50% refund up to 48 hours before arrival
- No refund for the last 48 hours of arrival date if rooms cannot be rented
- If you booked with a special rate, or any discount, the Cancellation Policy is NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of the cancellation date.
Winter/Easter/Bear Week/Summer cancellations from July 1 to August 30 / Long weekends and holidays:
- Full refund up to 18 days before arrival
- 50% refund up to 10 days before arrival
- There is no refund for the last 10 days before the date if the rooms cannot be rented
- If you booked with a special rate, or any discount, the Cancellation Policy is NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of the cancellation date.
Christmas and New Year Cancellations:
Pets
Only small and medium-sized pets are allowed.
- Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $250 MXN per night, per pet. They must be kept on a leash in any public area of the hotel and are not permitted in the pool.
- Pets must not be left unattended at any time, including in the room. Should the pet cause any disturbance, the hotel reserves the right to require pet owners to pay any costs incurred.
Third parties and extra persons:
- Room rates are for single or double occupancy. Additional adults sharing a room will cost 350 Mexican pesos per night, per person. Not to exceed the maximum occupancy number.
Guest behavior
You are expected to behave in an orderly and acceptable manner at all times and not to disrupt the enjoyment of other Guests. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your booking and the booking of any member of your party if we (acting reasonably) consider your conduct to be in breach of this clause. Conduct that we reasonably consider to be inappropriate includes, but is not limited to:
- Inappropriate levels of noise or disturbances.
- State of intoxication or unruly behavior.
- If you hold any event.
- Any behavior that appears offensive to other Guests or collaborators.
We will at all times act reasonably in making any determination under this clause.
In the event that we cancel your booking, you will be required to vacate your accommodation immediately. You will be responsible for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Full payment for any damage or loss must be made prior to your departure. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for the fulfilment of any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all expenses we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
Our obligations to you end when the booking is terminated. We will have no obligation to provide a refund for missed accommodation and are not liable for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of termination.
